Within two hours of receiving your referral, an EK Health case manager contacts the patient, employer, healthcare provider and insurer to begin the evaluation process. The extent of injury and the concerns of the patient, employer, and healthcare provider are documented.
We then establish case resolution objectives, provide an action plan, and begin coordinating patient care to successfully and promptly resolve issues. We look below the surface for underlying issues such as language, cultural barriers, pre-existing medical conditions, and psychological and emotional factors that can influence the case.
