 As you may know, I joined EK Health on June 1, a day after retiring from Kaiser Permanente (KP), where I spent 35 years with The Permanente Medical Group.

I am delighted now to be part of the EK Health team and look forward to working with Eunhee Kim, EK Health’s President and CEO, Dr. Richard Thompson, EK Health’s Chief Medical Officer, and the entire EK Health Medical Department.

My role is to advance the development of EK Health’s managed care program, and to assist with its medical provider network product development and marketing.

During my career with KP, I built a full service Occupational Health Clinics program within the KP structure, a program that today includes 50 clinics in California.  I am proud of this accomplishment, along with initiating KP's Employee Health Services, and serving as the founding Medical Director of KP’s Health Care Organization and Medical Provider Networks.  

My motivation comes from solving problems and building solutions, a characteristic I see with Eunhee Kim and the EK Health medical team. I have watched with awe how they have built their line of products and services and continue to grow, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.

I am proud to share my experience, and to be part of this outstanding company that is setting the standard for providing such high quality, cost-efficient medical treatment for return to work. I look forward to working with many of you in the very near future.
